A design by Pierre Frey. Kasbah has the quiet warmth of a pale ground set against small, rhythmic embroidery, so the eye reads it first as surface and then as pattern. The multicolour geometric motifs bring a measured liveliness to the linen-rich cloth, giving it a texture that feels both crafted and composed. With its handcrafted embroidery and softly varied threads, it would sit beautifully in an interior where the fabric is meant to add detail without overwhelming the room. It may lend itself particularly well to decorative curtains, cushions or upholstery projects where tactility and drawing matter as much as colour.
