Dongtai has the poised, tactile presence of a fabric made to be noticed gently: a cream-toned surface with a subtle diamond rhythm, lightly raised by quilting and drawn through with vertical ribbing. The effect is orderly but not stiff, with the softness of cotton balanced by a disciplined pattern that gives the cloth its character. Its 272 cm width and quilted construction make it especially suited to interiors where a more substantial textile is wanted, whether for enveloping soft furnishings or for introducing a refined, padded look within a room. The small-scale geometry reads clearly from a distance yet remains understated up close, so it can sit comfortably among both classic and modern schemes. The vertical repeat of 10 cm adds to the sense of measured cadence across the surface, giving Dongtai a composed and architectural quality.
