A design by Pierre Frey. Origami is drawn with a measured beige ground and a repeating angular line motif that gives the surface its structure and poise. The contrast remains restrained, which allows the pattern to read as both graphic and calm, with the tactile depth associated with a jacquard velvet adding softness to the visual geometry. It is a fabric that can bring definition to a room without feeling severe, especially where a tailored, contemporary atmosphere is wanted. Made in a composition of viscose, cotton and polyester, it is presented here for intensive use. At 140 cm wide with a vertical repeat of 34 cm, it can be considered for upholstery or other interior applications where a patterned textile is required to carry both texture and presence. Its character is strongest in schemes that benefit from a clear drawing and a warm, light-toned base.
