A design by Pierre Frey. Jalapao is drawn with the quiet confidence of a large botanical print, where layered leaves unfold across a pale ground in monochrome contrast. The effect is fresh and grounded at once: graphic enough to bring structure to a room, yet natural in feeling, with the softness and irregularity that linen lends to printed cloth.Because the design reads clearly across a generous repeat, it can give curtains a sense of movement and depth, especially where the light will travel through the cloth and soften the darker outlines. In an interior, it suits rooms that benefit from a cooler, more disciplined kind of foliage pattern—one that feels less illustrative than atmospheric, and easy to place alongside timber, painted finishes, stone, or other quiet textures.
