A design by Pierre Frey. Empreinte is drawn with a strong vertical rhythm, where narrow stripes and small geometric marks create a measured, contemporary surface. The palette moves between brown, black, ivory and metallic highlights, giving the fabric a subtle contrast: grounded at a distance, then softly animated as the light touches the embroidered detail. Its character lies in the interplay of texture and sheen, with the embroidery adding presence without losing restraint. The composition brings together viscose, cotton, metallised yarn Lurex and silk, which lends the cloth a nuanced hand and a gently reflective finish. With a width of 134 cm and a vertical repeat of 27 cm, it can be considered for curtains, decorative upholstery or accent pieces where a precise pattern and a little luminosity are welcome. Empreinte suits interiors that need structure softened by tactility — a room with clean lines, warm woods, pale plaster or darker, more enveloping finishes.
