It feels poised rather than decorative for decoration’s sake, adding a clean line and a touch of sheen to curtains, cushions or upholstery detailing. The verified composition is 96% rayon, 3% polyester and 1% elastane, with a stated width of 3.5 cm, so it offers a slender, tailored presence that works well where a finishing detail needs to be seen but not overpower the room. Used along hems, borders or seams, it can sharpen a fabric’s outline and lend a more considered, dressed quality to the whole composition.
