A design by Pierre Frey. Serampore has the ease of a pale ground, then gathers itself into a lively embroidered garden of colour. The floral vines, leaves and small blossoms read with a handcrafted irregularity that gives the fabric its charm: decorative, but never stiff; detailed, yet still airy enough to let the composition breathe. The palette moves between green, blue, red and yellow accents, so the surface feels animated rather than busy, with the cotton and wool base giving it a more tactile, grounded presence.It is the kind of fabric that can bring warmth and ornament to curtains, cushions or an upholstered piece where a room needs softness and a little narrative.
