Pierre Frey Zag fabric

A design by Pierre Frey. Zag is drawn with a measured zigzag that feels crisp at a distance and softly textured closer in, its grey and ivory palette giving the fabric a calm, understated pulse. The chenille character lends the surface a plush, gently diffused hand, while the jacquard structure brings clarity to the pattern and a pleasing sense of depth. There is a restrained elegance to it that makes it easy to place in both pared-back and layered interiors. With its verified composition of cotton and viscose, Zag brings a grounded tactility suited to upholstery and other intensive-use settings where a fabric needs to feel considered as well as resilient in spirit. It can also be embossed, offering another way to shape its surface character when a stronger graphic presence is desired. Used on an armchair, banquette or tailored cushion, it would introduce pattern without noise, and a quiet contrast beside plain linens, woods or lacquered finishes.
