A design by Pierre Frey. Janelle is all restraint and poise: a pale ivory-beige ground lifted by a fine woven texture that reads calm from across the room and more intricate on closer view. The surface feels softly tactile rather than decorative, with the kind of low-contrast depth that brings ease to a scheme and lets other materials, woods and finishes breathe around it.Woven as a jacquard and made in France at an EPV Living Heritage Mill, it carries the hand of careful craft without drawing attention to itself. The vertical repeat gives the fabric a measured cadence, suited to curtains where the fall, lining and light can shape its character. In an interior, Janelle lends a room a composed, understated warmth—especially where a fabric is needed to soften architecture without adding weight or pattern noise.
