Gimignano Fabric

A design by Fadini Borghi. Gimignano has the presence of a richly dressed textile: vertical bands, floral medallions and looping embroidery move across the surface with a soft lustre and a sense of depth. The palette feels composed and decorative, with warm brown, gold, white and lilac notes lending the fabric its layered character. In an interior, this is the kind of cloth that can bring ceremony without severity — beautiful for curtains, upholstered accents or a room where pattern is meant to hold the eye and shape the atmosphere. The weave and embroidered techniques give it a tactile, tailored quality, while the repeat allows the design to settle elegantly over a larger expanse.
