Flowering by Hodsoll McKenzie brings the quiet poetry of an apple tree into the home. Across its natural cotton and linen ground, branching stems and blossoms emerge in a four-coloured matte viscose embroidery, shifting between softly suggested flowers and richer moments of colour. Inspired by Jean Francois Millet’s *A Flowering Apple Tree*, the medium-scale floral design has an easy, romantic presence for upholstery, curtains, cushions and other decorative interiors applications. From the 1851 collection, the fabric is 140 cm wide, with a 64 cm horizontal repeat and a 39 cm vertical repeat. Composition: 53% cotton, 47% flax (linen); embroidery: 100% viscose.
