A design by Pierre Frey. Chenille Igor is all about subdued depth: a dark, almost ink-like ground softened by the blur of chenille and a gentle, velvety light play across the surface. The effect is tactile rather than decorative, with a calm plainness that feels both grounded and intimate.Its blend of cotton, acrylic, virgin wool, polyamide and alpaca gives the cloth a layered hand, with the softness and warmth associated with chenille. At 134 cm wide, it lends itself naturally to upholstery and other interior applications where a fabric is wanted for its atmosphere as much as its appearance. Used on a chair, banquette or cushions, it can bring a room a hushed richness and an inviting, lived-in depth.
