A design by Pierre Frey. Alassio has the calm presence of a fabric made to soften a room while still holding the eye. Its cream ground gives the pattern space to breathe, while the botanical drawing moves across the surface with a measured, decorative ease in green, pink and soft beige. As a jacquard, the design feels woven into the cloth rather than simply placed upon it, giving it a quiet depth and a more tactile, tailored character.Woven in 100% polypropylene, it carries practical qualities that make it well suited to everyday life: high lightfastness, together with stain- and water-repellent performance and resistance to mould. The width is generous at 138 cm, with a vertical repeat of 46 cm, which makes it useful for statement upholstery and other moderate-use applications where pattern continuity matters. It is a fabric with a composed, slightly fresh atmosphere — equally at home in a relaxed interior or a more structured scheme where a natural motif can bring warmth and movement.
