Pierre Frey Acanthe Fabric

A design by Pierre Frey. Acanthe has the calm precision of a woven surface seen at close range: narrow vertical striping, a fine grid effect and a restrained rhythm of beige, brown, green and grey. The jacquard gives the fabric a composed texture, while the multicolour weave keeps it from feeling flat, bringing a subtle depth that reads as both graphic and easy to live with. Made in 100% acrylic, it combines the character of a decorative fabric with practical qualities including high lightfastness, stain and water repellency, and mould resistance. At 138 cm wide with a vertical repeat of 8 cm, it is well suited to normal use in interiors where a fabric needs to hold its poise as well as its place.
