Using the original machines still in operation at our Venice factory, we have developed new techniques that extend the processes established by Mariano Fortuny over a century ago to create a collection of fabric landscapes that recall the natural world. The textiles of LANDSCAPE II recall the weathered façades of Venice and the movement of the tides. Defined by tonal transitions rather than contrast, Landscape II reveals its character slowly. The fabric responds to light and scale, making it ideal for expansive, immersive interiors. Part of the POLPO Collection.
