A design by Pierre Frey. Arkadi has the restrained clarity of a small geometric pattern, softened by a palette of grey, olive and cream that feels both composed and gentle. The épinglé velvet surface gives the design a subtle depth, so the motif reads with quiet movement rather than sharp contrast.Its 136 cm width and vertical repeat of 3 cm make it well suited to tailored upholstery and other interior applications where a measured pattern can be appreciated. With a composition of 90% cotton and 10% polyester, it carries the tactile presence expected of a velvet while remaining purposeful for intensive use. In a room, Arkadi can bring a finely structured layer to sofas, armchairs or cushions, especially where a calm pattern is wanted without losing material richness.
