A design by Pierre Frey. Danakil is drawn with the tactility and depth that give a fabric real presence in a room. Its multicolour surface reads like a woven mosaic, with layered notes of blue, green, yellow and pink settling into a calm beige-grey ground. The result feels both graphic and atmospheric: lively enough to animate an interior, yet measured enough to sit comfortably within a refined scheme.As a jacquard, the pattern carries its character through the weave rather than a printed surface, which lends it a more textured, enduring quality. Made in France at an EPV Living Heritage Mill, it suggests the kind of careful craftsmanship that rewards close viewing and works well where a room calls for pattern with substance. Suitable for normal use, it may be considered for upholstery, curtains or other decorative applications where a strong visual rhythm is welcome.Technical details are simple and useful: 57% wool and 43% cotton, with a width of 133 cm and a vertical repeat of 66 cm.
