Paxton brings a quiet sense of structure to the transparent beauty of linen. Its softly mottled ground allows the nuanced stripe to catch the light, while a loose float stitch introduces the tactile softness of alpaca merino thread. Wide-width and naturally expressive, it is an atmospheric choice for refined window treatments and other decorative interior applications. Part of Hodsoll McKenzie’s 1851 collection, the design is named for landscape gardener Joseph Paxton and the architectural clarity of the Crystal Palace. Composition: 56% flax (linen), 28% alpaca, 9% viscose, 5% virgin wool, 2% polyester. Width: 300 cm. Pattern repeat: 7 cm. Care: Do not wash or bleach. Iron at medium temperature. Dry clean gently (P).
