Barton reimagines the classic braid with an elegant, architectural sensibility. Set against a cotton base with a fine ottoman weave, its three interlacing strands are defined through a single embroidery colour that shifts direction, creating a subtle illusion of movement and depth. The slightly denser stitching gives the trimming a tactile, handcrafted character. Named for Alix Barton, founder of the Madame Grès fashion house, Barton belongs to Travers’ Style Moderne collection. Width: 9 cm. Composition: 100% cotton and 100% viscose; embroidery: 100% viscose.
