Aguayo by Etamine is a considered interpretation of traditional stripes, woven on traditional wooden looms in Kerala, India. Its character begins with yarn dyeing and continues through the handweaving process, while washing after weaving softens the material and gives the stripes a gentle depth. Made from 65% jute and 35% cotton, this medium-scale design measures 130 cm wide, with a 65 cm repeat. Tested to 100,000 Martindale cycles, it is suited to upholstery and other elegant interior applications where natural texture and artisanal detail are appreciated.
