A design by Pierre Frey. Youth has the freshness of a garden drawn in stitch: floral and leaf motifs in blue, green and yellow moving across a light ground with an easy, decorative cadence. The embroidery gives the surface a quiet relief and a sense of hand, while the palette keeps it bright and airy rather than heavy. Woven in linen with acrylic and presented with embroidered character, it lends itself beautifully to drapery, cushions or decorative upholstery where a little pattern can soften a room and bring in a more measured, lived-in charm.
