Pierre Frey Yutaka Fabric
A design by Pierre Frey. Yutaka has the poised, tactile presence of a fabric meant to bring order and softness at once. Its jacquard surface draws a measured geometry through layered blue, grey and beige notes, giving the cloth a calm rhythm that reads as structured without feeling severe. The mix of cotton, mohair, alpaca, wool and finer synthetic fibres lends the fabric a gently plush character, with enough definition in the weave to keep the pattern clear. At 136 cm wide with a vertical repeat of 34 cm, it can be considered for moderate-use interior applications where a composed decorative effect is wanted—perhaps on upholstered pieces, cushions or other features that benefit from texture and drawing as much as colour. Made in France at an EPV Living Heritage Mill, it carries the quiet assurance of a well-made textile.
