A design by Pierre Frey. Scilia is drawn in a calm vertical rhythm, with ivory, orange and pale blue-grey stripes that feel fresh, disciplined and gently spirited at once. The jacquard weave gives the surface a composed textile presence, while the colour changes keep it lively without losing restraint. In 100% acrylic, it carries a practical ease suited to everyday interiors, and the noted high lightfastness, stain and water repellency, and mould resistance suggest a fabric that can be used with confidence where a cleaner, more durable finish is wanted. At 143 cm wide with a 12 cm vertical repeat, Scilia can bring a neat graphic order to light upholstery and other normal-use applications, particularly where a room benefits from something polished but not overly formal.
