A design by Pierre Frey. Obsidienne draws its character from broad horizontal bands and the softened energy of a printed surface, where indigo, teal blue and dark grey move with a brushy, almost painterly rhythm. The effect is contemporary but not severe: layered, atmospheric, and capable of bringing depth to a room without overwhelming it. Woven in 100% cotton and printed with a vertical repeat of 150 cm, it has the kind of visual scale that suits generous curtains particularly well, allowing the pattern to fall with presence and clarity. Used at the window, it can introduce a quiet драмatic note, balancing structure with movement and lending a room a more composed, intimate mood. Its graphic simplicity also makes it easy to live with alongside plain upholstery, timber, stone or painted finishes, where the colours can read as both accent and backdrop.
