A design by Pierre Frey. Belleme has the quiet clarity of a small check drawn into a finely textured ground, where beige is traced with slender green and darker lines. The surface suggests a gentle depth rather than a flat print, with the chenille and jacquard handling giving the pattern a soft, tactile presence. It feels composed and versatile, with enough restraint to sit comfortably in both contemporary and more traditional interiors.In use, its technical character supports pieces that are asked to work harder in daily life. The fabric’s high lightfastness, stain and water repellency, and mould resistance make it a considered choice for intensive use, while the 139 cm width and 3 cm vertical repeat help define how the pattern will read across larger or smaller applications. It brings a practical confidence to upholstery or other furnishing moments where a neat surface and enduring appearance are equally important.
