VERA takes a scroll motif from Fortuny's archival PERUVIANO design and repositions it along a diagonal bias. This compositional decision transforms an ancient ornament into a contemporary surface. The result is a pattern that feels simultaneously structured and alive, its repeating forms creating a sense of continuous, unhurried movement across the fabric face. The medium-scale repeat gives VERA remarkable versatility. It’s particularly effective in upholstery where the diagonal cuts against the geometry of the frame, and in drapery where the vertical hang reveals the full rhythm of the motif. Softly structured and gently expressive, VERA brings a sense of calm sophistication to any interior application. Part of the ARMONIA collection, designed in collaboration with Chahan Minassian.
