Effie Gray by Hodsoll McKenzie belongs to the 1851 collection, bringing together the natural character of flax and wool with the considered ease of a refined upholstery and soft-furnishing fabric. Its gently mottled, lightly slubbed surface has a particularly soft hand, while a subtle ornamental jacquard emerges across the width—more distinct in some colourways than others. Available in eleven shades, the palette moves from silver and beige neutrals through soft aquas to strong olive and smoky blue. Width: 147 cm. Rapport: 47 × 70 cm. Composition: 70% flax (linen), 25% acrylic, 5% fleece wool. Washable; care instructions: wash gently at 30°C, do not bleach, tumble dry or dry clean, and iron at medium heat.
