A design by Pierre Frey. Uppsala has the clarity of a striped cloth, yet the finer line work keeps it from feeling simple. The light ground carries bands of colour with an easy confidence, and the woven structure gives the surface a gentle, articulate presence rather than a flat print effect. It feels tailored and decorative at once, with enough energy to enliven a room while remaining disciplined in scale.Woven in 100% cotton as a jacquard plain weave, the fabric offers a substantial but approachable character for moderate use. The vertical repeat of 45 cm helps define the stripe rhythm and makes it especially considered for upholstery accents, loose covers, or drapery moments where pattern direction matters. It brings a measured, architectural note to contemporary interiors, and also sits comfortably in more classic settings where colour and structure are wanted without heaviness.
