A design by Pierre Frey. Wadi is drawn with a calm, geometric discipline: a neutral ground animated by pale embroidered lines that feel both precise and softly irregular. The surface has the quiet depth one expects from silk and viscose, with a hand-woven character that lends the fabric a more intimate, tactile presence. Its pattern is abstract rather than declarative, giving it a measured elegance that can settle beautifully into a room without asking for attention. There is a sense of light moving across the cloth, catching the raised stitch and the subtle variations of the weave. As an interior fabric, it lends itself to spaces that benefit from texture, restraint and a composed decorative note, whether used as an accent or to bring softness to a broader scheme.
