A design by Pierre Frey. Vadim is a fabric of understatement, with a light beige tone that sits softly in the room and a fine, nubby surface that gives the plain a gentle depth. Its matte finish keeps the look relaxed and natural, while the blend of viscose, linen, cotton and polyamide lends it a quietly tactile character. It feels particularly suited to interiors that favour softness over display: chairs, curtains, cushions or other domestic uses where a calm, textured ground is wanted. The plain weave makes it easy to live with, allowing it to support both pared-back schemes and layered rooms with richer materials around it.
