A design by Pierre Frey. Maralinga has the calm depth of a fabric that reveals itself gradually: layered contours, a restrained tonal movement and the gentle tactility of a jacquard surface. The reversible construction adds versatility, while the pattern’s 63 cm vertical repeat gives it a measured sense of scale that feels composed rather than emphatic. Woven in 78% viscose, 14% cotton and 8% polyamide, it carries a supple character suited to intensive use, where a fabric is asked to bring both atmosphere and resilience to a room. It would sit naturally on upholstery, where its texture can soften stronger lines and introduce a quiet organic note.
