Paname
A design by Pierre Frey. Paname carries the energy of a city seen at dusk: a dark, rhythmic ground lifted by flashes of architecture and the recognisable silhouette of the Eiffel Tower. The effect is vivid but controlled, with the jacquard weave giving the scene a woven depth rather than a printed flatness, so the surface feels richly drawn and quietly graphic. Its palette sits comfortably between blue, white and softened greys, making it especially effective in rooms that need pattern with structure rather than noise.Woven in France in an EPV Living Heritage Mill, Paname is made as a jacquard from 51% Cotton, 46% Viscose and 3% Polyamide. The 124 cm width and vertical repeat of 124 cm suggest a fabric suited to considered upholstery or drapery where the pictorial layout can be allowed to read clearly. It has the presence to stand alone on a large-scale piece, yet it also works beautifully as part of a layered interior when paired with plain linens, matte woods or lacquered finishes. There is a certain metropolitan elegance to it, making it well suited to rooms that want atmosphere, precision and a sense of place.
