A design by Pierre Frey. Chenille Olga is drawn as a series of multicoloured horizontal stripes, softened by the chenille surface so the palette feels measured rather than loud. The result is a fabric with a gentle depth: colour laid over texture, and texture given definition by the jacquard structure. There is something distinctly lived-in and composed about it, the sort of pattern that can lend warmth to upholstery or bring a more intimate, tailored character to curtains and cushions. Its vertical repeat gives the design a clear architectural rhythm, while the blend of cotton, acrylic, virgin wool, polyamide and alpaca suggests a handle that is both plush and nuanced.
