Tauzin fabric by Pierre Frey

A design by Pierre Frey. Tauzin has the feeling of a fabric drawn with a steady, ornamental hand: an ochre ground animated by winding vine branches, stylised leaves and small, irregular motifs that keep the surface alive. The chenille gives the pattern a soft depth, while the jacquard construction lends definition and a quiet sense of structure. Its palette reads warm and considered, with the kind of colour balance that can soften a scheme without losing clarity. Woven in a composition of cotton, viscose, polyester and linen, it suggests itself beautifully for curtains, upholstered accents or decorative panels where a fabric is allowed to register both at distance and close to touch. At 140 cm wide, Tauzin offers a generous width for interior work, and its vertical repeat of 70 cm brings a measured cadence to larger applications.
