The pattern feels measured rather than busy, so the eye reads both the geometry and the texture at once.Woven in Pierre Frey’s workshop in northern France, it carries the character of a fabric made with care and precision. Its wool, polyamide, cotton, mohair and alpaca composition gives it a layered hand and a sense of visual richness that suits pieces meant to be lived with closely.With its 131 cm width and vertical repeat of 65 cm, Kilwa can work beautifully on upholstered forms where the pattern has room to settle, especially for intensive use.
