Pierre Frey Bolchoi Fabric

Bolchoi has the layered richness of a fabric meant to be seen from a little distance and enjoyed up close: large floral medallions, a dark ground, and vertical bands that give the pattern its architectural rhythm. The palette moves across blue, green, red, gold and black, so the whole surface feels animated yet composed, with the soft relief that comes from a jacquard weave. Woven in Pierre Frey’s workshop in northern France, it carries the character of a living heritage mill and a textile made with evident attention to drawing and handle.
