Danse Du Dragon

A design by Pierre Frey. Danse Du Dragon has the poised grandeur of a classic damask, with repeating dragons, floral accents and swirling cloud forms that give the surface a sense of movement and ceremony. The palette feels layered and luminous, bringing together jade, blue, cream and gold notes with the softened depth that cotton and viscose can lend. Its silk-like character gives the fabric a refined presence, while the large vertical repeat adds to the pattern’s dramatic rhythm across a room. At 136 cm wide, it may be considered for moderate use where a more decorative, atmospheric textile is desired — perhaps for curtains, statement upholstery or other interior pieces that benefit from pattern and sheen in equal measure.
