A design by Fadini Borghi. Roma is drawn with a poised sense of ornament: a pale blue ground set against scrolling floral forms, softened by beige and gold and lifted with notes of red and pink. The effect is richly patterned but carefully balanced, with the depth and surface interest that jacquard velvet brings to a room.There is a ceremonial quality to the design, yet it remains adaptable in use. Its woven character and substantial hand suit moderate use, lending itself to upholstered pieces or decorative applications where pattern and material presence are meant to be felt as much as seen. The vertical repeat of 67 cm helps define the rhythm of the motif, allowing the fabric’s symmetry to read clearly across broader surfaces.
