A design by Fadini Borghi. Chandra carries a calm taupe-brown character, its surface reading as understated at first glance and then revealing a subtle woven texture. The effect is softly tactile rather than decorative, which gives it an easy authority in a room.Presented as a jacquard velvet, it has the grounded feel that suits upholstery where a fabric is asked to do more than simply sit in the background. The composition of polyester, viscose and cotton brings together different qualities in a way that suggests a fabric made for intensive use, while the 140 cm width and 34 cm vertical repeat give a useful framework for planning. It can bring a composed, tailored note to seating, panels or other interior applications where depth of colour and a quietly textural surface are valued.
